Service Policy

Shipping Terms

Magnetic Drill Direct reserves the right to select freight carrier and method on prepaid shipments. All shipping charges other than standard ground freight are FOB MagneticDrillDirect Davenport, Iowa, and will be billed to customer at time of sale.

Shortage or Damage Claims

All such claims must be received by Magnetic Drill Direct within ten days of invoice date.

Returned Goods

A returned goods authorization number (RGA) must be obtained from MagneticDrillDirect prior to returning product for credit or repair. A Twenty percent restock fee will be applied to all MagneticDrillDirect machines, tooling, parts and accessories returned for credit MagneticDrillDirect will accept only current product in new condition for return and reserves the right to issue credit in trade or monetary compensation. Credit issued will be applied against outstanding account balance.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims will be handled in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in MagneticDrillDirect written warranty policy.

Machine Warranty

Magnetic Drill Direct will, within one year of the original date of purchase, repair or replace any goods found to be defective in the material or workmanship, provided the warranty registration card has been returned to Magnetic Drill Direct within thirty days of the purchase date. This warranty does not apply to machines and or components that have been altered, changed or modified in any way, or subjected to use beyond recommended capacities and specifications. Electrical components are subject to respective manufacturers warranties. All goods returned defective should be returned prepaid freight to Magnetic Drill Direct, which shall be the buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for defective goods.

This warranty excludes labor and travel related expenses, which may be incurred during the warranty period. In no event shall Magnetic Drill Direct be liable for the loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly from the use of merchandise or from any other cause. MagneticDrillDirect not liable for any costs incurred on such goods or consequential damages. No officer, employee or agent of Magnetic Drill Direct is authorized to make oral representations or warranty of fitness or to waive any of the foregoing terms of sales and none shall be binding on MagneticDrillDirect

Repair Service

Non-warranty labor rate is $60 per hour. All repairs will incur a two-hour minimum labor charge plus all necessary repair part cost and related expenses.
